OUR VISION
​
Lupesina Aoga Amata Preschool is a bilingual (Samoan/English) Aoga Amata with a Samoan and Christian “kaupapa” providing a best quality facility, curriculum and interactions, environment, resources and teachers/staffs that serves the Glendene and wider community by nurturing and nourishing our children and valuing their voices so that they will be strong, confident and independent learners when they leave the Lupesina nest.
OUR STORY
In 2005, faiaoga Faalaa Faaiuaso, who had just recently graduated with her Bachelor of Teaching - ECE, went knocking around her local schools seeking a venue to start a playgroup.

After enquiring at a couple of schools she found herself at Glendene School and was welcomed, by then principal Robyn Dunseath and her team, to use one of their classrooms to start Lupesina o Samoa playgroup.
​
Then in 2010 a purpose built Aoga Amata (bilingual - Samoan/English - Early Learning Service) was completed on Glendene School grounds.
Lupesina Aoga Amata Preschool opened its doors for children to start attending from September 2010 and we have only grown since then.
​
So Lupesina Aoga Amata are honoured to offer a
nest for children to continue to grow and develop within a Samoan and Christian kaupapa, to become confident, capable and competent learners who will be ready to fly onwards and upwards to fulfil their potential and much more!
